Carmen Campo is a media, communications, and social media specialist for 6 years for The Soho Loft Media Group with its divisions The Soho Loft Conferences, Victoria Global Communications, and Times Impact Publications working with Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Thomson Reuters, Huffington Post, VentureBeat and other key publications.
Prior to The Soho Loft Media Group she pioneered and launched Product Integrity programs and vendor programs for Gap Inc for 10 years to ensure customer safety of Gap Inc’s premiere brands such as babyGap, GapKids, Old Navy Baby, Old Navy Kids, Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. She worked with industry leaders and international brands such as Intertek Testing, Societe Generale de Surveillance, Bayer, BASF, J & P Coats, Lock Inspection, OSHIMA and others using corporate standards and global regulations such as ASTM, AATCC, BS, ISO, etc to create and implement global compliance programs. She collaborated with 160 production and service facilities in the SEA region to implement and audit these programs and processes. Before joining Gap Inc, she managed the Fiber, Textile and Garment Laboratory for Intertek Testing Ltd for 8 years making it the number 1 testing facility locally, regionally, and internationally. In doing so, she contributed to the Quality Assurance programs of global brands such as Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Gap Inc, Levi’s, JC Penney, Marks & Spencer, Ann Taylor, H&M, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Disney, McDonald’s, Karlstadt, and other world leading brands of consumer products.
She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Clothing Tech under the Department of Clothing, Textile, and Related Arts of the College of H. Economics.
