David Drake, LDJ Capital and The Soho Loft Media Group Chairman, speaks at the NEXT BLOCK Conference organized by Krypton Events

Crypto leaders, blockchain enthusiasts, startup entrepreneurs, thought leaders, company executives, financial experts, and investors will convene at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria for the NEXT BLOCK Conference on September 14.

LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake is one of the speakers for the event. More recently, David Drake is also seen as a leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency.  He saw the value of digital assets when it was yet unpopular. It all started in 2011 when Drake collaborated on the JOBS Act to create new laws underlying all fundraising in the U.S. for all ICOs.  He runs a $200M LDJ Cayman Fund focused on cryptocurrency, mining, and ICO acquisitions. LDJ Capital Credit also offers middle market bridge financing to seed upcoming ICOs. Previously, he held a majority stake as a Managing Partner with Robert Hambrecht in an Alternative Energy Fund NewCommons Capital 2009-2010.

He says, “With a very dynamic market, there has been a lot of opportunities and challenges for the crypto and blockchain space. This conference is a must-attend event since this is a platform for companies and investors to expand their networks and learn more about what’s happening in the blockchain and crypto space.”

The conference features keynote speeches, panel discussions, and the NEXT BLOCK Open Mic session where the participants may pitch their projects in front of the audience and the investors. The topics of the conference are the challenges of a crypto economy, digital asset versus physical assets, entertainment business tokenization, and the balance between regulatory oversight and financial freedom.

Along with David Drake, some of the speakers in the conference are:

Agada Nameri, General Manager, iCapital

Andy Cheung, Head of Operations, OKEx

Aviya Arika, Head of Aviya Law
