Atari Gaming Board Member Zyngier joins LDJ Capital Restructuring Group

LDJ Capital welcomes Alexandre Zyngier as its newest director for its crypto media financing and restructuring division

NEW YORK – March 22, 2018 – Chairman David Drake announces the appointment of Alexandre Zyngier as the Managing ​Director of Crypto Media & Restructuring at his family office, LDJ Capital. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of Atari SA gaming.

In 2013, Mr. Zyngier founded Batuta Capital Advisors LLC with a focus on advisory and investing in the turnaround, distressed and high growth sectors. Mr. Zyngier’s expertise is in the field of restructuring, investing, strategy and operations.

His work at Alden Global Capital, Deutsche Bank Co., and Goldman Sachs & Co. was focused on distressed investments across the capital structure.

Mr. Zyngier is also a member of the Board of Directors at Applied Minerals Inc. (AMNL), AudioEye, Inc. (AEYE), First Contact Entertainment, GT Advanced Technologies, LootCrate, Inc. and Torchlight Energy Resources, Inc. (TRCH). Previously, he was Chairman of the Board of Vertis Inc., a director of Island One LLC, and the Executive Chairman of DTV America Corporation.
He also worked for McKinsey & Co. as a strategy consultant and at Procter & Gamble as Technical Brand Manager with a focus on Latin America beauty care products.
Mr. Zyngier holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. He obtained an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago.
