Bruce Lipnick, advisor to LDJ Capital, attended the Washington Ballet’s annual Gala last April 29th at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium. It was a tribute to the David Bowie Queen Ballet opening in May at the Kennedy Center.
This year’s gala also praised the genius artistic director Septime Webre’s 17 years at The Washington Ballet (TWB). It also introduced the wonderfully talented new artistic director, Julie Kent. She spent nearly 30 great years at American Ballet Theatre (ABT).
