Freeman White, CEO and Co-Founder of, believes that social entrepreneurs are our best hope for solving the biggest problems in the world. He envisions a world where the funding of social enterprises is market-driven and democratic. After college he dove headfirst into the world of education and education reform and he was named a StartingBloc fellow in 2005. Since then he has worked as an architect and builder of cloud computing solutions to support the work of socially responsible businesses.

Launcht is the first software as a service (SaaS) company to offer crowdfunding platform software. Launcht has grown significantly in the donation and rewards crowdfunding space and successfully advocated for the crowdfunding legislation that legalized equity crowdfunding in April, 2012. Freeman is a Founding Member of Crowdfunding Intermediary Regulatory Advocates ( and was selected to be the Secretary of the Leadership Board for CFIRA. As part of CFIRA, he advocates on capitol hill and to regulators for continued support of the right rules to implement equity crowdfunding.
