FFO, a multi-family office which has been serving wealthy families, individuals and their advisors, has obtained Compass Management Group, a lifestyle management and business company that caters to professional athletes. This business agreement enables FFO to increase the number of their athlete clients, especially since they intend to focus further on sports.
Jurrell Casey from the Tennessee Titans and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors are the recent additions to FFO’s clientbase. The multi-family office also acquired Daniel Sillman, CEO and founder of Compass Management Group and RSE Ventures’ New Business Development Director. Sillman will serve as an advisor to FFO, while continue working at RSE Ventures.
Sillman’s connections in the sports industry will definitely contribute to the growth of FFO. The acquisition of Compass Management Group and Sillman will give FFO access to the most promising athletes.
FFO services include tax planning and compliance, family office consulting, lifestyle management, data aggregation, cash flow management and advisory services. This agreement will not have any effect on the management or allocation of the athletes’ assets.
“There are stories abound about star athletes going bankrupt,” said FFO Founder and Managing Partner Rick Flynn. “A large percentage of these athletes have not received the information and insights they need to make wise financial decisions, or they’ve simply been exploited by predatory advisors. Our state-of-the-art wealth management expertise enables us to protect athletes from financial mistakes, enhancing their portfolios and shielding them from unfounded lawsuits. By bringing exceptional financial solutions to athletes, we’re able to enhance their lives and make them more secure.”
FFO’s client base ranges from company executives, to entrepreneurs, to a select group of entertainers, and this addition of talented and successful sports athletes will be a great complement to the firm.
