Future Now Ventures, a venture capital firm, has invested $200,000 in seed capital to CloudSwyft, a tech startup based in the Philippines. The startup was founded April of last year, and has already generated its CloudSwyft Suite, which is made up of two products; the Tech Training and Tech Assessment Platforms. CloudSwyft is composed of nine individuals, including its interns. In addition, it has already worked with international firms including Cloud Sherpas, Fujitsu, and Microsoft.
According to CEO and Founder of CloudSwyft, Dann Angelo De Guzman, the main investor is John Orrock, the CEO and Founder of Future Now Ventures. De Guzman said that this investment will strengthen CloudSwyft, as well as furthers its market in the enterprise business-to-business (B2B) sector. He added that the company’s vision is to transform how people learn technology skills in the Information Technology (IT) world by providing a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that gives IT-Labs-as-a-Service for IT capability development and skills assessments.
CloudSwyft is delighted to be supported by Orrock, who has been successful in the Enterprise SaaS and cloud fields. He has developed firms like Cloud Sherpas and Okere LLC. De Guzman said that they could see their platform entering not only the local, but the international scene as well. He added that since there are no major players in this field yet, it would be an excellent opportunity for them to be the status-quo in this industry, in addition to improving their product and acquiring more customers.
